“We Came Here to Socialise, Not to Justify Our Lungs”

Dear Kirsty,
A forwarded thread. An institutional snub. A decision not to read.
“I can’t speak in person verbally enough to explain all of this…”
“So I am confused as to how to communicate with anyone if no one wants to read my emails.”
That’s the point, isn’t it?
You don’t want communication. You want disappearance.
You want silence dressed as compliance, disability rewritten as inconvenience.
“We came here because we love the people and socialising…”
“…but people here don’t like that we have asthma.”
London promised connection.
Instead, we were handed interrogation—oxygen-policed and socially misread.
And then came the official closure:
“We would be grateful if you do not copy us into any further emails.”
There it is.
The bureaucratic “Shh.”
Not dialogue—dismissal.
Not safeguarding—erasure.
But unlike you, I file it.
Not for revenge. For record.
So the next time you pretend this never happened, the archive will say otherwise.
